In order to further enhance the awareness of residents in the jurisdiction to save resources, protect the environment and care for the earth, on the occasion of "World Earth Day", the community of Mingde North Street Affiliated Hospital and Xiadongying Primary School jointly carried out a publicity activity with the theme of "Reducing Plastic and Picking Up Plastics, All Green Together".
During the activity, volunteers publicized the origin, purpose, and significance of "Earth Day" to residents, distributed publicity materials such as earth protection, low-carbon life, and garbage classification, and picked up white garbage in the area under their jurisdiction, and cleaned the environmental sanitation of back streets and alleys and old communities. At the same time of cleaning, everyone also strives to be a volunteer propagandist, persuading uncivilized behavior, guiding residents to take care of community hygiene in daily life, and advocating everyone to start from me, from now on, and from the small things around us with practical actions.
This activity enhanced the awareness of residents in the jurisdiction to protect nature and treat the earth well, and called on everyone to cherish the earth's resources, maintain the cleanliness of the earth, build a green and harmonious beautiful home, and let more people join in the earth's environmental protection action.
