At the Daguan County Xiaozhu Industry High-quality Development Conference, the "China Geographical Indication Certification Trademark "Daguan Xiao Bamboo Shoots" Standard and the "Daguan Xiao Bamboo Shoots" Inspection Report were issued, and 5 enterprises were authorized to use the special mark of "Daguan Xiao Bamboo Shoots".
According to the release, the "China Geographical Indication Certification Trademark "Daguan Xiao Bamboo Shoots" Standard", drafted by the Daguan County Bamboo Industry Development Center, Southwest Forestry University, and Daguan County People's Government Xiaozhu Research Institute, released in May 2023, "China Geographical Indication Certification Trademark "Daguan Xiao Bamboo Shoots" Standard" defines the terms, definitions and scope of protection of the geographical indication certification trademark Daguan Xiao bamboo shoots, and stipulates the natural environment, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, identification marks, packaging, transportation and storage requirements. This is the first time to authorize enterprises to use, the authorized companies are Yunnan Linsen Food Co., Ltd., Yunnan Huizhu Food Co., Ltd., Yunnan Zhaozhu Agricultural Products Co., Ltd., Yunnan Xinxing Food Co., Ltd., Yunnan Zhu Yiji Food Technology Co., Ltd.
The inspection report of "Daguan Xiao Bamboo Shoots" pointed out that from 2022 to 2024, Daguan Xiao Bamboo Research Institute collected bamboo shoot samples in Mujiao Town, the core production area of Xiao Zhu in Daguan County, for 3 consecutive years and sent them to authoritative testing institutions for quality testing, and the comprehensive test results showed that the crude protein content of Daguan Xiao bamboo was 3.72g/100g, the crude fat content was 0.34g/100g, the reducing sugar content was 0.66g/100g, the zinc content was 8.81mg/kg, and the selenium content was 60μg/ kg, potassium content 5113.78mg/kg, vitamin C content 35.06mg/100g, dietary fiber content 2.62g/100g, total amino acids 2.90g/100g (including: umami amino acids 26.55%, sweet amino acids 27.58%, aromatic amino acids 8.96%). Through comprehensive comparison, the nutrient content of bamboo shoots in Daguan County is higher than that of other bamboo shoots, with low sugar, low fat, high protein, high dietary fiber, rich in potassium and selenium, and has the reputation of "the crown of bamboo shoots and the treasure of vegetables".
