When you fish for carp, you will study the fishing position, the nest material, the bait, and the drift, but few people will study the line group. Even if you think of a line set, you only choose the thickness of the line.
Playing table fishing, most of the anglers fishing carp line set is the same, that is, the main line + subline double hook, and the crucian carp fishing line group is about the same, nothing more than the thickness of the line, the size of the hook is different.
In fact, there are better line sets for carp fishing.
The best and strongest line set for wild carp fishing is a single hook through the line, that is, there is no subline, just one line and one hook, but there can be 2 lead sinkers.
First of all, the tension is a lot stronger, and the configuration of the normal main line + subline, even if the subline and the main line are as thick, it is not as thick as the through line.
Because there are 2 more knots with the strand, and once the fishing line is knotted, the tensile force will be lost, which means that even if the configuration of the No. 2 main line + No. 2 subline is not as strong as the No. 2 through line. If you don't tie the knot, the 2+2 configuration is even worse than the 1.5 through line.
In addition, a single hook is better than a double hook. Don't think that 2 hooks can double the chance of hitting the fish, that's not how it works. The double hook often has the situation of "bridging", once the bridge is built, it is particularly difficult to walk the fish, and it is easier to run the fish.
Of course, the single hook of the line is not perfect, such as in case of hanging bottom, in case of encountering huge objects and other situations that cause the line to be broken, it is possible to lose the float!
How to choose it is up to everyone, anyway, the pros and cons are clear. Next, I will add a few more things to the single line of the hook, as well as share the drifting method.
The simplest through hook single line is a single lead, the best drift is not with a hook to level the water, hang the hook after fishing three or four eyes, so that the state of the line group is the lead sinker lightly touches the bottom, the hook is completely lying on the bottom.
However, because there is no line, it is a bit troublesome if you don't have a hook, or you can take the fishing line to the fishing point to tie it, adjust the drift and then tie the hook on. Another option is to find a bucket at home, so that you can also adjust the drift.
If you don't want to use either method, there is another way, but you need to use double lead.
First of all, when we make the line set, we need to wear an extra space bean, this space bean is used to wrap the lead sinker, so we need to use cylindrical space beans.
The double lead wire group can be drifted with a hook, we first adjust the single lead drift, you can adjust the whole mesh, you can also adjust the number of half of the tail of the drift, or adjust three or four meshes.
My habit is that if the float eats a large amount of lead and the tail is thick, then don't turn it too high, just adjust the number of float tails to half of the number.
After the adjustment, we will wrap a small lead skin on the space bean reserved above the fish hook, and this small lead skin will at least press all the remaining float mesh into the water, and it will be okay to wrap it a little bigger.
It is recommended to fish for 3~4 meshes.
In this way, the state of the line group is that the upper lead is suspended, the lower lead touches the bottom, and the fish hook lies flat.
The sensitivity of the single hook through line is controlled by moving the sinker, which becomes more sensitive the closer you get to the hook and blunt the farther away you get.
Generally speaking, the lead sinker can be 5~15 cm away from the hook, the line is thin, the fish is small, the lead sinker can be closer to the hook, the line is thick, the fish is large, the lead sinker should be a little farther away from the hook, but I think the farthest is about 20 cm.
You don't need to worry about this, after all, in fishing, we can adjust it at any time according to the situation.
If you can't hit the mouth all the time, it is fishing too smart, pull the sinker a little higher, if the float does not move but can hit the fish, or find that every time you swallow the hook is very deep, then pull the sinker a little lower.
Finally, add: If you are really afraid of hanging on the bottom and afraid of losing the big fish, then you can also use the combination of the main line + the subline, but try to choose a single hook, and the subline can use a softer and better entrance line.
