In order to do a solid job in the employment services for veterans, broaden the employment channels for veterans, and promote high-quality employment of veterans, recently, the District Veterans Service Center has set up a special area for veterans employment recruitment at the 2024 Spring Campus Comprehensive Job Fair of East China University of Political Science and Law to help college students and retired soldiers find jobs.
In the early stage, the District Veterans Service Center carefully planned and integrated resources, and built a two-way communication platform for the Veterans Service Station of East China University of Political Science and Law and the Hongqiao Street Veterans Service Station, so as to promote the integration and interaction of grassroots veterans service stations and resource sharing.
The veterans service station of East China University of Political Science and Law has an in-depth understanding of the job search intentions and employment needs of college students and retired soldiers, and mobilizes retired soldiers with employment intentions to participate in recruitment; Personnel specialists, project assistants, management reserves and other positions.
The recruitment site is crowded, the company actively promotes the job information, and many retired soldiers are attracted by the company's generous job treatment and good development prospects, and have stopped to consult and submit resumes. The staff of the District Veterans Service Center provides veterans with preferential treatment card consultation, answers on entrepreneurship policies, career planning guidance, etc., and provides "one-to-one" exclusive services for veterans according to their personal characteristics, so as to further meet the job search expectations and needs of veterans.
Xiao Zhang, a retired soldier and graduate, said: "I didn't expect that there would be a job search area for veterans at today's job fair, and several companies have provided priority positions for veterans, which is really very kind and proud, and I feel like I have found a home!"
In the next step, the District Veterans Service Center will continue to build an exchange platform, broaden resource integration channels, guide grassroots veterans service stations to strengthen coordination and cooperation, do a good job in resource sharing, form complementary advantages, improve service levels, provide professional, accurate and diversified services for veterans, and help the service guarantee of veterans in Changning District to a new level.
