During the event, Chen Chengmao, president of the Fuzhou Association for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of the Two Sides of the Taiwan Strait, Xiong Wenchun, vice chairman of the Cangshan District CPPCC, and Liu Changchen, principal of Hongtang Central Primary School, jointly unveiled the "Cross-Strait Nursery Rhymes Tour Hongtang Central Primary School Station", marking the official launch of the exchange platform tailored for children on both sides of the strait.
Liu Changchen, principal of Hongtang Central Primary School, was hired as the stationmaster. He said that nursery rhymes are a treasure in traditional culture, and in the future, he will carry out activities such as creating and exchanging nursery rhymes, so as to cultivate friendship among young people on both sides of the strait and bring "one family on both sides of the strait" into the distance.

In the cultural exhibition and performance, the intangible cultural heritage stilt dance "Dragon Flying Phoenix Dance Step by Step", Fuzhou song chorus "Fu", southern Fujian nursery rhyme joint singing "Sky Dark" and "Lost Copper", Taiwanese children reciting "I am a Chinese baby", Mindu nursery rhyme joint singing "Grain Grain", "March 3, Green Wheat Garlic", "Moonlight" and other wonderful performances with cultural characteristics, evoking the common memory of compatriots on both sides of the strait. Among them, the nursery rhyme "Moonlight" is listed as the intangible cultural heritage of Fuzhou City, which originates from the folk song of the Tang Dynasty 1300 years ago, and is the "cultural business card" of Hongtang, which is also widely sung on both sides of the strait.

It is understood that the cross-strait nursery rhyme tour was initiated by the Fuzhou Association for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, launched in September 2023, and plans to set up 99 post stations, up to now, 14 post stations have been set up in Fujian and Taiwan, through the holding of various forms of cross-strait nursery rhyme cultural activities, to provide more opportunities and platforms for children on both sides of the strait, and to further promote the exchange and integration of cross-strait nursery rhyme culture.
