However, under the premise of a more affordable price, the Wuling Starlight EV has shown bright spots in terms of charging efficiency, and is equipped with the only 2C battery cell in its class.
On the premise of the outdoor temperature of 27 °C in Guangzhou, the Wuling Starlight EV can achieve a maximum charging power of 120.16kW and a maximum current of 342.90A, which is closer to the 200,000 and 300,000 electric vehicles. Because of this, the Wuling Starlight EV can achieve the official claim of 15 minutes of charging and a range of 200km.
Some people may say that the charging speed of Wuling Xingguang EV does not seem to be particularly fast, and Xpeng G6 can not achieve 10 minutes of charging 300km? Specifically, the Shenlian battery cell of Wuling Xingguang EV uses "Fast Ion 1000" electrolyte, which improves charging efficiency by optimizing the viscosity of the electrolyte solvent, improving the conductivity of the electrolyte, and adjusting the resistance of the SEI film. Increasing the conductivity of the electrolyte is like turning a single-car truck into a truck with a multi-section cargo box at the same speed, allowing it to transport more goods at once.
The Shenlian battery equipped with the Wuling Xingguang EV has also been optimized in terms of materials, using fast-charging graphite at the negative electrode position, and increasing the channel for graphite to embed lithium.
