According to the previous declaration data, the length, width and height of the Leap C16 are 4915/1905/1770 mm, and the wheelbase is 2825 mm, positioning it as a medium and large SUV. For reference, the ideal L6 has a length, width and height of 4925/1960/1735 mm and a wheelbase of 2920 mm.

Leapmotor C16 provides two power systems: pure electric and extended range, of which the pure electric model is equipped with a drive motor provided by Jinhua Lingsheng Power Technology Co., Ltd., with a peak power of 215 kilowatts, and is matched with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack, and the range information has not been announced.
The extended-range version is equipped with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder range extender provided by Chongqing Xiaokang Power Co., Ltd., model H15R, with a maximum power of 70 kilowatts, and a drive motor with a maximum power of 170 kilowatts, and the entire power system is the same as that of the Leapmotor C10. As for the range, the Leap C16 extended range version of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has a pure electric range of 134 kilometers.

At this stage, the Leapmotor C10 has been launched, positioned as a mid-size SUV, providing two power systems, pure electric and extended range, with a price range of 128,800-168,800 yuan. Combined with the price of the Leapmotor C10, the price of the Leapmotor C16, which is positioned as a medium and large SUV, is likely to be around 200,000 yuan. According to the new energy medium and large SUVs on sale, models with similar price ranges include the Li L6, VOYAH FREE, and Zhiji LS6.
Combined with sales data, in March this year, the sales volume of Leapmotor C11 was 5,135 units, the sales volume of Leapmotor C10 was 4,744 units, the sales volume of Leapmotor T03 was 2,784 units, and the sales volume of Leapmotor C01 was 1,904 units.
