A few days ago, we learned from Yangwang Auto that Yangwang U8 Luxury Edition officially started to push V1.4.0 version OTA upgrade. The upgrade will add 10 new features, including two-speed parking, and optimize 15 functions. For reference, the price of the Yangwang U8 Deluxe Edition starts at 1.098 million yuan.
The 1.4.0 OTA update adds a two-speed parking function, which allows users to select the parking speed through the parking settings interface in the center control screen, with a parking speed of ≤2.5 km/h in Comfort mode and a parking speed of ≤4 km/h in Extreme mode.
In addition to the two-speed parking feature, the following features will be added in this upgrade:

The official said that the upgrade will be pushed in batches nationwide, and the upgrade time is estimated to be about 170 minutes. Before the OTA upgrade, users need to park the vehicle on a flat road section, ensure that the vehicle network signal is good, the battery level is higher than 20%, and the front and rear doors and front and rear hatches are closed. During the upgrade process, there is a short prompt such as the central control screen turning off and the dashboard failure, which is a normal phenomenon, do not think that intervention, and the vehicle will automatically complete the upgrade after getting off and locking the car.
The Yangwang U8 luxury version is positioned as a large SUV and was officially launched in September last year, with a price starting at 1.098 million yuan. Although the car sold for more than one million, it has sold more than 1,000 units in three months in the past six months, and has sold more than 5,500 units in the past six months. In the market, Yangwang U8 has no direct competitors, although the same level of models include Mengshi 917, Ideal L9, Wenjie M9 and other models, but the price of these models is significantly different from Yangwang U8.
