In the process of teaching ward rounds, Academician Zhang Volunteer cordially inquired about the patient's medical history, carefully checked the imaging data, and conducted a detailed examination, providing many scientific and guiding professional opinions on the problems that may be encountered in the process of diagnosis and treatment. At the same time, in the exchange with the young doctors of the Stomatological Hospital Affiliated to the Heavy Medical College, Academician Zhang also put forward pertinent suggestions and messages on the theme of "how to be a good doctor".
During his stay at the Stomatological Hospital of the Affiliated Hospital of Intensive Medicine, Academician Zhang volunteered with the medical team of the Maxillofacial Surgery Department of the hospital to consult and operate on a patient with tongue cancer and a patient with cheek cancer. From meticulous preoperative preparation, to precise surgical operation, to perfect postoperative management, he gave detailed teaching, and shared his years of clinical experience with everyone without reservation, reflecting a very high professional standard.
