Unpaid blood donation
Blood donation saves lives, and love is passed on to eternity. In order to further promote the spirit of volunteer service and practice the core values of socialism with practical actions, on April 19, the Provincial Party Committee Veteran Cadres Bureau and the Provincial Blood Center jointly carried out the "Adding Glory to the Party Flag and Relay for Life" blood donation activity. A total of 34 cadres and employees of the bureau system actively signed up for the event.
The atmosphere at the blood donation site was warm and orderly. The blood donation team includes both "recruits" who have entered the battle for the first time and "hot-blooded veterans" who have donated blood for many times. Under the guidance of the staff of the Provincial Blood Center, they went to the blood collection vehicle in an orderly manner to donate blood through steps such as scanning the QR code, measuring blood pressure, collecting blood for testing, and confirming blood type. In this blood donation activity, 27 cadres and employees of the bureau system donated a total of 7,700 ml of blood.
The trickle converges into a river, and the dripping blood interprets love. The Bureau of Veteran Cadres of the Provincial Party Committee regards blood donation as an important part of the creation of spiritual civilization, fully demonstrates the love and sense of responsibility of veteran cadres and workers in the new era, and also uses practical actions to practice the original intention and mission of caring for life and contributing to society. After the event, everyone said that they should be supporters, participants, demonstrators and leaders of unpaid blood donation, drive more people around them to join the ranks of unpaid blood donation, and contribute to the practice of social responsibility and positive energy.
