In order to further promote the implementation of various tasks of maternal and child health and improve the level of maternal and child health services, from April 8 to April 16, Fufeng County Maternal and Child Health Hospital supervised and inspected the work of maternal and child health in the first quarter of 2024 in accordance with the arrangements of the County Health Bureau.
The supervision team checked the promotion of maternal and child health, the development of health education services, and the reporting and entry of basic data in the 13 town health centers by checking paper materials on the spot, logging in to the platform to view electronic information entry, face-to-face question workflow, and telephone interviews with the satisfaction of the masses. Twenty-five village clinics were randomly selected to check the nutritional packs, folic acid distribution, follow-up and storage, and health management of pregnant women and children aged 0-6 years. Supervision and inspection were carried out on the implementation of the activities of the Year of Improving the Safety and Quality of Maternal and Infant Babies in the three midwifery institutions at the county level, the issuance of birth medical certificates, and the implementation of the elimination of mother-to-child transmission of the "three diseases". While fully grasping the implementation of maternal and child health work at the county, town and village levels, on-site guidance was given to the difficult problems and weak links encountered in the work one by one, and targeted improvement measures were put forward that were in line with the actual work.
Through this inspection, we have a further understanding of the maternal and child health work, service, and management of the primary medical and health institutions in the jurisdiction, and have a further understanding of the difficult problems existing in the special work of women and children.
