This year, the kindergarten admission work in Shanghai is mainly carried out online, which is divided into three stages: information registration, registration verification and admission notification.

Information registration stage
On April 16, all districts announced the admission policy for school-age children.
From April 16th to April 21st, willing kindergartens can carry out kindergarten open day activities in a variety of ways.
From April 22nd to April 29th, the guardians of school-age children will register their children's online admission information.
At 12:00 p.m. on April 22, the special column of "2024 School-age Children Entering Kindergartens" on the homepage of the website (https://zwdt.sh.gov.cn) of Shanghai's "All in One Network" website () and the "2024 School-age Children's Kindergarten" module on the homepage of the mobile terminal of "Sui Bid" will be officially opened.

Sign up for the verification phase
Starting from May 9, all districts have started the registration verification work, and organized parents to register and verify online in accordance with the district's admission policy. The registration verification work will be basically completed by the end of May. Parents are requested to pay attention to the processing time specified in the district's admission policy document.

Offer Notification Stage
Before July 15, all districts will basically complete the work of children's admission to kindergartens, and issue notices to eligible parents of young children.
At each key time node, the Shanghai school-age children's kindergarten information registration system will also send text messages to parents to remind parents not to miss the process.
