GRACE CHEN, a high-end fashion brand from Changning, recently released the brand's 2024 spring/summer haute couture collection "Fang Ling Yongji Egypt" in Cairo, Egypt, with 40 sets of haute couture works, allowing the Egyptian elements of Gorgeous Heavy Industry to meet the elegant silhouettes of China, bringing a modern and delicate fashion show.
"ETERNAL EGYPT" IS ANOTHER NEW CHAPTER OPENED BY GRACE CHEN AFTER THE "CLASSICS" TRILOGY. This season's black and white gold colour palette featured models dressed in fashion from the catwalks that surrounded the pool. I saw that the metallic and glittering knitted fabrics and silk satin echoed the brand's classic weaving process and pearl-embossed embroidery, and paired with hand-woven beaded jewelry, showing a gorgeous and calm high-end texture.

Chen Yehuai, the founder and chief designer of the brand, said that before the design, she and her team went deep into Egypt to conduct research, drawing inspiration from ancient Egyptian culture, hoping to make haute couture present a more diversified aesthetic through this season's fashion collection.
The "Eye of Horus" symbol was specially incorporated into the runway look, which is derived from ancient Egyptian mythology and legends, symbolizing justice and strength in Egyptian culture. This season's fashion is based on the style keyword of "self-worship", aiming to lead modern women to live a busy life without losing their love for themselves, and to show the image of an independent woman who is confident and self-just, and continues to shine in different fields.
"Bringing Chinese design to the world stage is my original intention as a Chinese designer, and it is also the mission that I have always adhered to and put into action. Chen Yehuai said that this brand launch show is an important opportunity to show the charm of Chinese fashion to the world, and in the future, the brand will continue to use fashion to establish close connections with international fashion, art industry and global users.
