In September 2023, the Ministry of Water Resources named Qindu District as the sixth batch of county-level water-saving social standard counties (districts) in the country.
Recently, in accordance with the requirements of the "Notice on Carrying out the Verification of the Counties (Districts) Reaching the Standards for the Construction of a Water-Saving Society in the Province for 5 Years and in the Groundwater Overexploitation Area", Qindu District has conscientiously carried out the water-saving work "looking back", and carried out self-assessment and improvement work in accordance with the new standards.
With the promulgation and implementation of the "Water Conservation Regulations" of the State Council, Qindu District will continue to consolidate the construction achievements in accordance with the requirements of the county-level water-saving society to meet the standards, further strengthen the supervision and management of water conservation, promote the legalization and standardization of water conservation work in the whole district, make careful use of water resources, and provide effective guarantee for the high-quality development of regional economy and society.
