"We can close our eyes and imagine what it would be like to take a plane to the southernmost boundary island of Hainan Island, where there is a bookstore where we live every day and meet our favorite writers."

At 4:30 p.m. on April 19, at the Zhengzhou Shangdu Ruins Museum, 31-year-old Yang Yiming, marketing editor of Henan People's Publishing House, slowly narrated in a deep tone, and more than 20 junior high school students followed the guidance and began to imagine reading on the island.

Yang Yiming shared on the spot

"Let reading meet history, let the national tide pass through the present", this is the scene of the second season of the theme reading activity of "Tasting Books in the Museum". During the event, the students of Nongke Road Primary School Education Group and Cultural Greentown Primary School Education Group in Jinshui District successively brought special programs such as "Classic Chants" and "Reading China with You". Subsequently, under the guidance of the narrator, the students shuttled through multiple exhibition halls, exploring the initial appearance of the Shang Dynasty from the thick historical and cultural exhibitions and vivid historical stories, feeling the 3,600 years of historical changes, and appreciating the ancient and modern times of Zhengzhou.

In the theme sharing, Yang Guang, deputy editor-in-chief of Henan People's Publishing House, shared the stories behind the publication of books such as "The Road to Drunken White: Reading Bai Juyi", "Sitting and Watching the Clouds Rise: Wang Wei's Thirty-two Phases", "The Age of Heroes: Chen Wen's New Product Review of the Multidimensional Three Kingdoms", "Peerless Elegance: Ning Jiayu Talks about the Demeanor of the Wei and Jin Dynasties".

Yang Guang shared the theme at the scene

Yang Guang said that although the protagonists of these books are familiar historical figures, the author still writes different images, such as the more three-dimensional "Three Kingdoms Figures", the more three-dimensional "Poetry Buddha" Wang Wei, and the more different beauty of the Wei and Jin dynasties.

"I like Wang Wei, his kind of 'quiet' realm is very rare, and it is also what we need, only when the heart is truly calm can we see a richer world. Yang Guang has repeatedly talked about Wang Wei's poem "People are idle and osmanthus flowers fall, and the night is quiet and the mountains are empty", and he hopes that this generation of young people will use their expressions to tell about Chinese history and these heroes in the future.

Yang Guang introduced that since the launch of the "Chinese Context" project, Henan People's Publishing House has been deeply engaged in the content of the Yellow River, cultural classics, cultural celebrities and other sections, and is currently making every effort to promote the planning and publication of related books.

In the last part of the event, Yang Yiming, a young book editor, shared his views on "I Read on the Island". "Reading is a wonderful experience in itself, but in our daily lives, we tie reading to being forced to study or complete tasks. Yang Yiming took everyone to do some imagination and said that words and books can extend our thinking and horizons, not to take reading as a task, but as a way to explore ourselves and communicate with the world.

He encouraged the students: "Even if we can't actually go to Boundary Island, we can take advantage of the fragmented time every day to pick up a book and read at any time, and we can enjoy a short relaxation. ”

Li You, a seventh-grade student at Zhengzhou No. 44 Middle School, participated in the book sharing session in the museum for the first time and felt that it was "particularly meaningful and broadened his horizons". She also likes Wang Wei, likes Wang Wei's "quiet", and likes to be quiet in daily life to read, draw, and do homework. Li You told reporters that she recently likes to read the poetry collections of Bingxin and Tagore, and has not only enjoyed the beauty of the poems themselves, but also made great progress in writing. She imagined that "in the future, she may take the path of literary creation", and used her way to tell the historical figures in her mind.

It is understood that the second season of the theme reading activity of "Let Reading Meet History, Let the National Tide Pass Through the Present" and "Taste Books in the Museum" is sponsored by Zhongyuan Publishing and Media Group, Henan People's Publishing House, Henan Xinhua Bookstore Distribution Group, Zhengzhou Shangdu Ruins Museum, and Zhengzhou Xinhua Bookstore. The beauty of reading, the beauty of culture.
