Begonia Poetry Society
Begonia Poetry Club is a traditional activity of Nanhu No. 2 Primary School, every year when the Begonia flowers bloom, the school will hold poetry competitions with different themes, so that students can inherit the poetry rhyme, appreciate the charm of culture, and cultivate the feelings of family and country in the spring breeze in April.
Zhu Chunxiang, the principal of the school, emphasized that the poetry competition is not only a platform to show talents, but also a stage to feel the charm of poetry and inherit the cultural spirit. He hoped that the students would feel life in poetry, improve themselves in poetry, find spiritual sustenance in poetry, enhance national and cultural self-confidence in the study of poetry, and cultivate a sense of national identity.
With the "Chinese Traditional Festival" as the core, 15 classes from grades 1 to 6 will bring a total of 15 programs. The students took recitation as the main form, supplemented by singing, dancing, sitcom and other forms of expression, to deduce their understanding and perception of the different festivals of the Dragon Boat Festival, Qingming Festival and Lantern Festival, and presented a wonderful audio-visual feast to the audience.

As the last line of poetry lands, the Begonia poem will slowly come to an end like a long narrative poem. In this time full of rhythm and artistic conception, the students weaved a poetic picture together. In poetry, students encounter the wisdom of the ancients, embrace the pure truth of childhood, and know the charm of poetry. They used classic poems to convey the 5,000-year-old history of China, showing the good spiritual outlook and literary literacy of the students of Nanhu No. 2 Primary School.
Throughout the event, a panel of judges composed of school leaders and guests scored the students' performance in terms of appearance, language expression, expression and demeanor. Ma Juhua, director of the Moral Education Research Center of the former Jianye District Teacher Development Center, highly praised the performance of the students of Nanhu No. 2 Primary School, and hoped that the students would live up to their prosperity, take their dreams as horses, work hard, continue to learn and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
Although the Begonia Poetry Club has come to an end temporarily
But believe it
The journey of poetry never ends
May every student
can carry today's moving and enlightening
Continue on the journey of life
Sing your own song
