On April 19th, sponsored by the Foreign Propaganda Office of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, the activity of "Foreigners Telling Stories and Dreaming of Flowers and Spring Garden" was launched in Yu Garden. In the Yuxing Hall of Huabao Building, the members of the Foreigner Storytelling Club changed into Chinese costumes and experienced traditional Chinese culture such as Song-style tea, Chinese-style flower arrangement, and intangible cultural heritage lacquer fans under the guidance of professional teachers, and experienced the beauty and connotation in practice.
Today coincides with the rain in the valley, and a grand flower festival is being staged in Yu Garden. The members of the club wore gorgeous costumes and went on a spring tour of Yu Garden. The giant flowers in the center of Jiuqu Lake are in full bloom, making people feel as if they are in a sea of flowers, and the flowers in front of Huabao Tower are full of people coming and going to the amusement park, making people feel as if they have traveled back to ancient times. In the continuous spring rain, the members of the club appreciated the oriental aesthetics of the prosperous era of the flower dynasty and felt the perfect fusion of tradition and modernity.
