In order to further promote the work of maternal and child health services in the district, improve the level of maternal and child health services, and effectively protect the physical and mental health of women and children, on April 18, the 2024 Chaisang District Maternal and Child Health Work Training Meeting was held in the District Maternal and Child Health Hospital. More than 50 people from various medical institutions, Anjia Hospital, and township health centers attended the meeting.
At the training meeting, Gao Yan, director of the obstetrics department of the hospital, and Luo Fang, director of the pediatric department, gave lectures. Gao Yan elaborated on the maternal and child health handbook, shared the knowledge of high-risk maternal management, and emphasized the elimination of mother-to-child transmission of Aimei B. Luo Fang explained the management of high-risk children, and reminded the participants to do a good job in screening, registration and standardized referral of high-risk children to ensure children's health. At the training meeting, Liu Tingting of the hospital also explained the precautions for handling birth medical certificates.
The convening of this training meeting has enhanced the understanding of maternal and child work among the maternal and child staff in the district, further unified their thinking and improved their understanding, and laid a solid foundation for doing a good job in maternal and child health services in the region in 2024. The participants expressed that they would base themselves on their own posts, do a solid job in maternal and child health, and promote the cause of maternal and child health in the region to a new level.
