In November 1937, Li Lin resolutely bid farewell to her family and went to Yan'an alone. Here, she studied at Northern Shaanxi Public School and Yan'an Military and Political University, where she systematically studied Marxist-Leninist theory and military knowledge. Li Lin was brilliant and hardworking, and soon stood out among her classmates and became an outstanding student in the school.
In October 1938, Li Lin honorably joined the Communist Party of China. After joining the party, she was more strict with herself, and she standardized her words and deeds with the standard of a Communist Party member everywhere. At the same time, Li Lin also met many like-minded comrades-in-arms, including Li Qing (formerly known as Chen Baoqi), who later became her husband. Two young people with the same ideals and a common belief quickly fall in love.
In 1939, after graduating from the Military and Political University, Li Lin was assigned to work in the Yan'an Federation of Literary and Art Circles as a secretary. Here, with her excellent writing skills and excellent organizational skills, she has completed various tasks excellently, and has won unanimous praise from leaders and colleagues.
During Li Lin's work in the Yan'an Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the party organization gave her a special and arduous task - to go to Chongqing, break into the Kuomintang military system, and obtain enemy intelligence. 2. The latent military telecommunications station

But after Zhang Weilin returned to the military command, he was immediately arrested. It turned out that during his escape, the military commanders had searched his residence and found a large amount of evidence confirming that he was an underground party member.
The news of Zhang Weilin's arrest soon reached the ears of Feng Chuanqing, who was on duty. Feng Chuanqing realized that the matter was exposed, and he quickly hid in the basement of the military command compound, escaped from an air-raid shelter, and came to the office of the Eighth Route Army. After Ye Jianying learned of the situation, he immediately arranged for someone to send Feng Chuanqing to Yan'an.
Unfortunately, the good times did not last long, and the next day, Feng Chuanqing was arrested by the military commander at Qingmu Pass in Shapingba, Chongqing. It turned out that Ye Jianying was ill-conceived when arranging Feng Chuanqing's evacuation. Feng Chuanqing has a face full of pockmarks, which is very conspicuous. In the case of a city-wide search and arrest by the military command, a rash transfer is tantamount to throwing yourself into a trap.

3. The Fall of the Sleeper Group

In addition to the mutinous An Wenyuan, the other sleepers also behaved very tenaciously in prison. In the face of severe torture by the enemy, they would rather die than give in, and did not reveal the slightest party secret.
Although An Wenyuan defected, he also failed to provide evidence of the contact between the undercover team and the Eighth Route Army office. It turned out that except for Zhang Luping, Feng Chuanqing, and Zhang Weilin, the other members thought that they belonged to the leadership of the Chongqing underground party, and did not know that they were directly under the orders of the Eighth Route Army Office. This is a firewall that is set in advance, so that even if there is a traitor, it will not endanger the entire latent network.
In this way, this latent group, which had been hidden in the military command for half a year, finally collapsed. On July 14, 1945, the military commander killed seven people, including Zhang Luping, Zhang Weilin, Feng Chuanqing, Zhao Ligeng, Yang Wei, Chen Guozhu, and Wang Xizhen, in Xifeng Kuaihuoling. As for the traitor An Wenyuan, he did not end well, and in 1949, he was treated as an unreliable person by the military commanders.
Zhang Luping was tortured in prison, but she never gave in. Even on the execution ground, she still held her head high, and expressed her contempt for the enemy and her belief in the victory of the revolution with her determined eyes. Before her execution, Zhang Luping shouted "Long live the Communist Party of China" and bravely took up justice at the age of 30.
Zhang Weilin, Feng Chuanqing and others also behaved bravely and fearlessly. In the face of the enemy's butcher's knife, they did not have the slightest fear, sang the "Internationale" highly, and composed a revolutionary hymn with their lives.
The destruction of the latent group was a great loss for our party on the hidden front behind enemy lines during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. However, their sacrifice was exchanged for more valuable information, which provided strong support for our party in its struggle against the enemy. With their blood and lives, they composed a heroic hymn that shocked the world and wept ghosts and gods, and their deeds will always be remembered and admired by future generations.
Fourth, the truth is revealed
On July 14, 1945, Zhang Luping, Zhang Weilin, Feng Chuanqing, Zhao Ligeng, Yang Xun, Chen Guozhu, Wang Xizhen and other seven Communist Party members lurking in the military command bravely took up their lives in Xifeng Kuaihuoling. With their blood and lives, they composed a revolutionary hymn that can be sung and wept.
However, due to the special circumstances and the need for secrecy at the time, the deeds of these heroes were not immediately made public. On the contrary, due to various reasons, there was an absurd statement that Zhang Luping was a martyr and Li Lin was a traitor.
Li Lin's husband, Li Qing, has been anxiously waiting for news from his wife after she went on a mission in Chongqing. He repeatedly asked comrades who had returned from Chongqing about his wife's condition, but he always received ambiguous answers.
Some people say that Li Lin has changed, often dressing up in fancy ways, and going in and out of various occasions in Chongqing. It was also said that Li Lin was very close to some military commanders.
Li Qing resolutely did not believe these rumors. He knew his wife, Li Lin was a staunch Communist Party member, and it was impossible for him to do such a thing.
However, in 1943, a leader suddenly told Li Qing that Li Lin had defected. The news was like a bolt from the blue, and Li Qing couldn't believe his ears.
He refused to accept this fact, convinced that his wife would not rebel. However, as time passed, Li Qing's heart began to waver. What is the wife doing in Chongqing? Why is there no news? Is it really as others say......
Li Qing fell into deep pain and self-blame. He blamed himself for failing to protect his wife and leaving her alone to fight in the heart of the enemy. He even began to wonder if his decision to let his wife go was the right one.

When Li Qing saw his wife's martyr's posthumous identification document, he could no longer control his tears. Years of pain, doubt, and self-blame all came to naught in this moment. His wife, a true hero!
