Wu Renhao (2013) is a member of the Hunan Artists Association, a master of arts and crafts in Hunan Province, a vice chairman of the Hunan Folk Art Research Association, a vice president of the Pearl River Painting and Calligraphy Institute, and the chairman of the Shaoyang Sculpture Society. He is a multi-talented painter, calligraphy, arts and crafts, and sculpture. Its style is majestic and heroic, and it is known as "a geek, a genius, and a ghost".

In 1946, Wu Renhao was born in a scholarly family in Shaoyang County, and his father Wu Suzhang was a famous local poetry and calligrapher, and had a good martial arts. He received court training at an early age, and he was exposed to it with his ears and eyes, and he laid a solid foundation in all aspects of poetry, calligraphy and painting.
After graduating from high school at the age of 15, he went with his family, worked as a farmer, worked as a farmer, worked as a farmer, worked as a factory director, did carving, printmaking, paper-cutting, painting, bamboo art, and also did design, advertising, decoration, and so on. He does a line, learns a line, specializes in a line, and has made achievements in the fields he is involved in. His arts and crafts works "Antique Seal Gift Box" and "Bamboo Huang Ball Box" won the Hundred Flowers Award of Chinese Arts and Crafts of the Ministry of Light Industry, "Miao Wang Wine" won the Zhongnanxing Packaging Award, and the "Shaoyang Puppet Show" he participated in the production won the Golden Bull Award of the National Television City Style Program, etc. Some people call it "geeks" because of this.
Various categories of folk arts and crafts have given him rich artistic nourishment, but Wu Renhao does not seem to be satisfied with this - a larger artistic dream has always flourished in his heart. In 1992, he resigned and left his hometown to go to Zhuhai to explore the world.
Wu Renhao's perseverance and diligence are well known. He seized every opportunity to learn and create, and when inspiration came, he sat at his desk, day and night, as if he were fascinated and mad. Without the guidance of a famous teacher, he taught himself - the tradition of teaching, the nature of teaching, and the public.
His works, whether they are landscapes, flowers and birds, figures, or fine brushwork and freehand, are all deeply rooted in tradition. However, he learned from the ancient but not the ancient, and on the basis of inheriting his predecessors, combined with his own exploration, he gradually formed a distinctive personal style.
His freehand painting is large-brushed, free-spirited, and the fine brush painting is smooth, exquisite and elegant, and his words are wide open and closed, hearty, all inadvertently revealing a chivalrous, righteous, and heroic spirit, just like "the Kansai Han, holding the iron plate, singing the great river to the east".
During this period, he held a personal exhibition of calligraphy and painting, and created a large-scale collection of classical figure paintings "Crazy Strangers", a collection of white drawings "Ancient and Modern Cold Weapons Grand View", Gongbi painting "Out of Barrenness", and a huge landscape "The Glory of the Years", which gradually became famous, and his works won many awards, and were collected by collectors in the United States, France, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
Especially "Freak Monster", which caused a strong response. With rigorous and vivid line drawings, clear and strong black and white combinations, and wonderful compositional processing, "Crazy Strange Hero" has successfully created a hundred martial arts masters and ten scum of the rivers and lakes.
The famous painter Chen Baiyi called Wu Renhao a "genius", and "Crazy Strange Man" is a "strange book", and wrote a preface for it, giving a high evaluation: "Right and wrong are distinct, the image is vivid, the dynamic is magical, the brilliance is dazzling, and it shines." ”

Since 2000, in addition to continuing to work in the field of calligraphy and painting, Wu Renhao has begun to dabble in sculpture again. At that time, he was 51 years old.
Some people may question whether it is too late to start learning sculpture in the year when we know the destiny of heaven? Is it necessary? Indeed, according to ordinary people's thinking, we will work intensively on the original one-third of an acre of land, saving worry and effort, so why bother to engage in such a laborious sculpture that may not be pleasing to the people? But this is the "strange" thing about Wu Renhao, who will get into it when he sees it, and will not look ahead or backward, and will not care about the gains and losses.
Art is connected. Because of his profound calligraphy and painting skills, because of his investment, and because of his stubborn temper that does not admit defeat, Wu Renhao's sculptures started late, but they are advancing quickly. It is also self-taught, and it is also not bound by any rules and regulations, he understands, precipitates, and chases his hands in the integration of knowledge, and inspiration erupts, and masterpieces come one after another.
"Five Continents Roaring, Olympic Cheers" selects 5 athletes representing the five continents, with a rugged image, a shouting majestic posture, a mountain-like texture, an ancient and spicy handling technique, and a smooth and skillful mud and knife taste, which is shocking and unforgettable. In 2008, the work represented Hunan to participate in the Olympic Art Conference, and was honored by the International Olympic Committee, touring exhibitions at home and abroad.
"Cao Chongen" is a statue made for Cao Chongen, a famous contemporary sculpture master in the mainland. Giving a statue of a living master sculptor can be difficult and stressful. The work is both physical and spiritual, lifelike, and has been highly appreciated by the master himself.
In addition, "Qi Baishi", which was selected for the "Celebration of the 55th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China and the 10th National Art Exhibition" and won the Hunan Division Outstanding Works Award, as well as "Wei Yuan", "Kang Youwei", "Cai Yi", "Sun Yat-sen", "Tang Shaoyi", "Tang Guoan" (the first president of Tsinghua University) and many other celebrity statues, all of which are of different shapes and flesh and blood, have been widely praised by all walks of life.
The great success of the sculpture has won Wu Renhao the reputation of "ghost talent".
Since 2007, he has returned to his hometown to create dozens of groups of more than 50 Baoqing celebrity sculptures and character sculptures, this series of sculptures are placed in the square and pedestrian street in the center of Shaoyang, the public likes it very much, but also adds a heavy cultural heritage to the city. A few years ago, he founded Shaoyang Renhao Art and Sculpture School in his hometown and cultivated many professionals.
