How did the ground forces of our army identify the aircraft types of our air forces during the period of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea?

When the Volunteers first entered the DPRK, they still carried the identification table (P1) printed by the PLA Headquarters in January 1950, so it can be seen that in addition to American aircraft, there are also Soviet aircraft, aircraft commonly used by Chiang Kai-shek's army, and planes captured by our army.

By December 1950, according to the actual needs of the battlefield and the continuous emergence of various types of American aircraft, the Volunteer Army Command urgently printed the second edition of the identification table (P2), which shows that most of the various models are American, and the table is also attached to the anti-aircraft shooting calculation table for the reference of the ground troops.

By January 1951, the Volunteer Army Command had printed a more detailed simple textbook (P3 and P4) for the identification of enemy aircraft, which gave a more detailed introduction to the various characteristics and parts of various types of enemy aircraft.
