According to experts, a criminal gang can make a profit of less than 1,000 euros for stealing a small car, and 5,000 euros for stealing a luxury car worth about 100,000 euros. The cost of transporting a vehicle is around 2,000 to 3,000 euros, and if the vehicle is shipped overseas, it will cost between 10,000 and 15,000 euros. It is cheaper to take a driver's shift to drive the vehicle directly to its destination, usually between €500 and €1,000.
