As a member of the Starlight Alliance, Lierda has increased its R&D investment in Starlight technology, and the newly developed EB21 series SLE transparent transmission module on display integrates the latest BLE5.4 and SLE1.0 core technologies, with high-speed transmission and low power consumption.
Ye Wenguang, chairman of Lierda, told reporters that taking the common Bluetooth BLE 5.0 on the market as an example, in practical applications, its effective throughput rate has been measured to be about 480Kbps. The time it takes to transmit a 1MByte packet at this speed is about 17.1 seconds. In contrast, Lierda's SLE1.0 Starlight EB21 module has an effective throughput rate of 1.2MKbps after its recent data throughput measurement. In this case, it only takes about 6.6 seconds for the same 1MByte packet to be transmitted. "Compared with the more common Bluetooth devices on the market, the transmission rate of our module has increased by more than 60%. Ye Wenguang said.
The practical application of Lierda's 5G industrial terminal
In terms of transmission distance, the EB21 module also has significant advantages. According to the data throughput, the effective connection distance of the EB21 module can reach 300 meters under the condition of urban open roads. Under the same conditions, the maximum connection distance of Bluetooth is 150 meters. Ye Wenguang said.
Ye Wenguang further introduced that in addition to the leading WiFi and Bluetooth technology in parameters, the more important thing about Starlight technology is integration, which is a supplement to provide an excellent solution for WiFi and Bluetooth. For this reason, some industry insiders have commented that Starlight technology is more stable than WiFi and better than Bluetooth.
