Li Jinbang, director of the Agricultural and Rural Comprehensive Service Center of Liubao Town, introduced that in the past few days, Liubao Town has seized the current fine weather and comprehensively rolled out various tasks of spring plowing and production with the strategy of "comprehensive start, front-line guidance, cadre guidance, and mass participation". This year, they will build 10,000 acres of high-standard farmland demonstration bases in the Dongliang potato planting demonstration area and the Xiliang corn planting demonstration area. Both places adopt a combination of mechanical and manual cultivation methods. In the Dongliang 10,000 mu potato demonstration base, the planting technology of film covering soil was adopted to further improve the potato yield. In the 10,000 mu corn planting base in Xiliang, the machinery is in the process of mulching, and the manual seed counting operation is also being carried out simultaneously. At present, potato planting and corn mulching are one-third complete.
It is reported that the 10,000 mu of potatoes and 10,000 mu of corn planting demonstration base in Liubao Town is one of the key projects of Zhangjiachuan County's agricultural structure adjustment, and the 10,000 mu corn demonstration base involves 1,396 households in 9 villages of Liubao Town, and 10,400 mu of land is transferred. It is estimated that the output will be 38,000 tons, with an output value of 19 million yuan, and 775 people will be driven. The 10,000 mu potato planting demonstration base involves 9 villages with an area of 10,170 mu, including 8,670 mu of high-quality potato breeding demonstration and 1,500 mu of original seed breeding.

The two 10,000-mu demonstration bases built this year are based on the 20,000 mu of high-standard farmland that the town will build in 2023.
