In 2005, Lin Baixin was admitted to the hospital with aspiration pneumonia, and later passed away due to complications of various diseases. Although Lin Baixin passed away, he left behind more than 10 billion family assets, and he had four spouses, all of whom gave birth to children, so the Lin family was also involved in an inheritance dispute.
