After using the phone for a while, we often receive a prompt to update the system. Most people will choose to open it and update it. However, even if you don't click Update, the system will automatically update overnight.
Although updating the system has its benefits, based on my experience of several years, I highly recommend turning off system updates. As the number of updates increases, the phone becomes more and more stuttered and slow. This is mainly because it consumes a lot of phone memory when updating.
I bought an Android phone half a year ago, and so far it has been very stuck, and it can't compare to the state of the new phone when I first bought it. Although there is still memory left on the phone, it is very stuck to use, so it is recommended that you turn off system updates. But as of now, very few people know how to turn off system updates.
Today, I will give you a detailed tutorial to teach you how to turn off system updates correctly.
First, open your phone's settings. Find the About This Mac option in the drop-down menu. Different brands of phones may have different names, but they are basically similar.
Find the version option at the top, tap on the three dots in the top right corner, and select Auto-update settings.
By default, the auto-download option may be "Wi-Fi", while some phones may be "Wi-Fi" or "Mobile Data". We need to turn it off.
Once we are done with our selection, we notice that the nightly automatic update, which is also on by default, needs to be turned off.
Next, a very important step is to go back to About Native Options. Find the version information there and click to enter. You'll see a version number. Tap seven times in a row and enter your lock screen password to verify.
Now that you're in developer mode, noticed?
Then we go back to the settings menu and find the system settings.
Scroll down, find Developer Options, click Enter,
Then go ahead and swipe down and find the System Auto-Update option. It's also on by default, and we need to turn it off as well.
The last very important step is that now that we have turned on the developer options, the security of the phone is at risk. Once you're done setting it up, make sure to turn off the developer options so it's not easy to find.
The method is very simple, have you learned it?
