It is reported that the new car is equipped with an inline four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine and a PHEV plug-in hybrid system composed of an electric motor, with a combined horsepower of 680 horsepower, a comprehensive peak torque of 1020Nm, and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of only 3.4 seconds, and the price of the new car is 83,900 US dollars (about 607,000 yuan).
On the outside, the all-new AMG C 63 SE Performance is based on the Mercedes-Benz W206 C-Class, with AMG's proprietary Panamericana waterfall grille at the front, and a front bumper with larger air intakes, which are matched with the widened front and rear fenders to create a sporty atmosphere. On the side, the vents on the fenders of the new car are no longer equipped with the V8 logo, but are replaced by E Performance lettering, and compared with the sporty and sharp shape of the front face, the rear of the car looks much more mature and restrained, not only equipped with an exclusive black ducktail and bilateral quad tailpipes, but also equipped with blackened taillights, which are highly recognizable when lit.
Inside, the all-new AMG C 63 SE Performance steering wheel is replaced with AMG's exclusive three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, while the steering wheel also adds driving modes, sound, suspension and other control knobs, as well as a large vertical display, and a new in-vehicle system adds track timing and other functions. In addition, the seats are equipped with AMG-specific motorsport seats as in the same way as the previous model, which are more enveloping and lightweight.
Finally, in terms of power, the new car will adopt a PHEV plug-in hybrid system, in which the engine still uses AMG's M139 inline four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine, with a maximum output of 476 hp and a peak torque of 545N·m, which is 34 hp less than the old AMG C 63 S, and an electric motor with a maximum horsepower of 204 hp and a peak torque of 320N·m, with a comprehensive maximum power output of 680 hp and a comprehensive peak torque of 1020N· m, 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, almost 0.6 seconds faster than the old AMG C 63 S.
At the same time, the new car is equipped with a 400V battery system developed in-house by Mercedes-AMG and a 6.1 kWh lithium-ion battery, giving it an all-electric range of approximately 13 km. In addition to AMG's exclusive tuning, the chassis is also equipped with rear-wheel steering, which allows the rear wheels to be reversed by up to 2.5 degrees at low speeds, further enhancing the car's agility.
