On April 17, Chen Jun, deputy director of the Municipal Narcotics Control Office and political commissar of the Anti-drug Detachment of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, came to Wuping County to supervise and inspect the key rectification work related to narcotics. Wang Zhanqiang, executive deputy director of the county drug control office and deputy director of the county public security bureau, accompanied the supervision.
The inspection team first listened to the report on the key rectification work carried out by Wuping, and then went deep into Dongliu Town, a township of early warning notice at the municipal level, to carry out supervision and inspection by inspecting the construction of anti-drug infrastructure in Dongliu Town, consulting ledger materials, listening to work reports, and holding symposiums. During the period, they visited key units (villages) such as Dongliu Middle School and Daming Village, and organized some town and village cadres to hold symposiums to comprehensively and meticulously understand the key personnel and drug-related ex-offenders in Dongliu Town, the risk classification assessment and control of registered drug users, the construction of propaganda positions, drug prevention and education, and the prohibition of planting and eradicating drugs.
The inspection team fully affirmed the results achieved in the key rectification work related to narcotics in our county, pointed out some weak links, and put forward three opinions on the next step: First, the transmission of responsibility should be further compacted. It is necessary to focus on the work mechanism of "secretaries grasping anti-narcotics", always maintain "undiminished guarantees and undiminished measures", unremittingly grasp the key anti-narcotics work, refine work responsibilities, strengthen pressure transmission, form a joint work force, and consolidate the results of rectification. Second, the inspection should be strengthened. It is necessary to carry out the investigation and control of key personnel, key places, and key items on a regular basis, strengthen various basic work such as clearing villages and buildings, patrolling mountains, and strengthening the hierarchical and categorical control of drug users in society, so as to ensure that "the land is guarded, people are controlled, and things are taken care of". Third, propaganda efforts should be further strengthened. Persist in moving the border forward and giving priority to prevention, focusing on young people and other groups, strengthening publicity and education on drug prevention, and forming a strong atmosphere of consciously resisting drugs in the jurisdiction.
