On April 18, Xu Ping, Chairman of the People's Congress of Xinbang Town, Songjiang District, Shanghai, and his party went to Yuhe Town, Zhenxiong County to investigate the high-quality demonstration projects of Chaba Village, Huangping Village and Zuojiagou Scenic Area. Guan Yaofeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Zhenxiong County Party Committee and deputy county magistrate of the County People's Government, relevant leaders of the County Rural Revitalization Bureau, members of the party and government leadership team of Yuhe Town, and heads of relevant stations participated in field research and symposiums.
During the investigation, the delegation inspected the relevant projects of the east-west cooperation and assistance of Xinbang Town in recent years, and learned about the people's livelihood, economic and social benefits brought by the assistance projects.
At the symposium, Guan Yaofeng, on behalf of the county party committee and county government, introduced the situation of Zhenxiong County and the cooperation between the east and the west, and the main persons in charge of the party committee and government of Yuhe Town respectively introduced the economic and social development, resource endowment, counterpart cooperation and other related situations of Yuhe Town.
Xu Ping, chairman of the People's Congress of Xinbang Town, summed up the achievements of the east-west cooperation with "five to" (i.e., come, see, hear, learn, and think), and she emphasized that in the three spring and autumn seasons that have gone hand in hand, Xinbang Town has actively responded to the national east-west cooperation strategy, given full play to the complementary advantages between regions, actively integrated resources, and given strong support to Yuhe Town in terms of infrastructure construction and cultural tourism. At the same time, Yuhe Town took the initiative to continuously strengthen the cooperation and docking between the east and the west, actively planned projects, won support, further improved the infrastructure construction, solved the "urgency, difficulty, sorrow and hope" of the masses with heart, affection and strength, effectively enhanced the sense of gain and happiness of the masses, and achieved the expected effect of pairing assistance.
The meeting emphasized that Xinbang Town and Yuhe Town should continue to expand the cooperation platform, improve the cooperation system and mechanism, further strengthen exchanges and cooperation in consumption assistance, labor cooperation, industrial development, tourism development, etc., and strive to build "Yuhe experience", "Yuhe brand" and "Yuhe highlights" in the east-west cooperation, promote the pairing cooperation work to go deeper and more practical, and work together to build a "standing, loud, spreading" pairing assistance demonstration site.
It is reported that since 2021, Xinbang Town, Songjiang District, Shanghai, has paired up to help Yuhe Town, Yuhe Town has invested a lot of money in beautiful rural demonstration sites, village-level convenience service stations, village-level road lighting, modern agricultural tools, and farmers' markets in market towns, laying a solid foundation for rural revitalization.
