According to Zhao Bikun, the person in charge of "Cunhui Fruit Mulberry Garden", since 2014, new varieties and technologies of fruit mulberry have been introduced from the Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and nearly 100 acres have been planted in Siwei community, with a yield of more than 800 kilograms per mu. There are more than 10 varieties such as Dashi, White Pearl, White Jade King, Hongguo No. 1, Hongguo No. 2, Yunsang No. 2, Four Seasons Fruit, Taiwan Four Seasons Long Fruit, Osmanthus Nectar, etc., the taste is sweet and sour, and the guests like it very much. In addition to the original ecological picking, the industrial chain is also developed, and mulberry leaves and mulberries are included in tea, medicine and diet, so as to create a "fruit mulberry" brand culture. At present, fresh fruits are supplied to the two major supermarkets in Qujing to meet the needs of the general public.
In recent years, the streets along the river have focused on cultivating a 3-hour service-oriented industry in the suburbs, giving full play to the advantages of the suburbs and the radiation and driving role of "Qilin Water Town", vigorously developing the agricultural tourism industry of "characteristic planting + agricultural product picking + rural tourism", forming consumption scenes and formats with the theme of fishing and shrimp fishing, outward bound training, cycling and boating, leisure strolling, and sightseeing check-in, so as to promote the integrated development of sightseeing agriculture and rural tourism and help the revitalization of the whole region.
