In the face of emergencies, the new Hongkou Municipal Corporation immediately launched the emergency plan, reported the on-site situation to the district municipal and water affairs center and the district traffic management department, determined the emergency repair measures, and organized the emergency repair team to rush to the scene.
Due to the complexity of the underground pipe network at the intersection of the collapse location, it brings certain difficulties to the troubleshooting, positioning and subsequent repair of the fault point. Based on past experience, the repair personnel used pump trucks to carry out pumping, investigation and excavation for up to five hours, and finally located the fault water point.
After 12 hours of continuous fighting, the initial repair of the hollow area was completed, and the road was successfully reopened to traffic.
