In order to ensure the safety and stability of the border line under its jurisdiction during the New Year Festival of 1386 (Songkran Festival in 2024) of the Dai calendar, according to the unified deployment requirements of the superiors, the Taluo Police Station gave full play to the advantages of the police liaison mechanism, coordinated and organized the county bureau to support and strengthen the front-line patrol police force at the border, and actively linked with the police stations of the four special regions of Myanmar to continue to carry out patrol prevention and control work on the front line of the China-Myanmar border, continuously strengthen border control, and resolutely build a solid security barrier.
During the patrol duty, the bilateral police forces carried out their work synchronously, in strict accordance with the principle of "key areas must be visited, key road sections must be patrolled", and adopted a combination of foot patrol and vehicle patrol, day patrol and night patrol, in-depth border line, key sections, 24-hour all-round patrol, comprehensive investigation and timely maintenance of key markers, border sidewalks and border control infrastructure, etc., effectively eliminate potential safety hazards and loopholes, and strictly do a good job of checking and filling gaps. Security precautions are taken to ensure that emergencies are handled quickly and prudently, and to effectively maintain the security and stability of border areas.
This joint operation has further strengthened the control of border areas, further expanded the police liaison mechanism, continued to create a high-pressure situation of cracking down on cross-border illegal and criminal activities, and made every effort to build a strong security barrier for border control, laying a solid foundation for ensuring the continued stability of social order in border areas during the Songkran Festival.
