Up to now, the third phase of the housing project has successively completed all the hardware renovation of more than 500 transitional resettlement houses for the elderly in the four villages of Hooptongdou Village, Xingyao Village, Wujiazhuang Village and Dongshuanglin Village.
The transitional housing for the elderly is not only a follow-up supporting project for comprehensive land consolidation in the whole region, but also a livelihood project to resettle and solve the difficulties of the elderly in renting. On the basis of the preliminary investigation of the hardware transformation needs of transitional housing for the elderly with special difficulties, the Shuanglin Town Zhilian will implement and promote the "Yile Housing" project according to the "one household, one plan".
Since there is no water heater in the transitional room of some elderly people, they need to rely on a small kettle to boil water, and it is urgent for the elderly with inconvenient legs and feet to improve the necessary living facilities. After assessing the living environment, the volunteers brought the master to the home to install the water heater and instructed them on how to use it. In addition, it has also carried out age-appropriate modifications for the elderly with limited mobility. "Since the implementation of the 'Yile Anju' hardware renovation project in November last year, we have completed all the hardware transformation parts, and in the future, we will also provide various convenient services such as haircuts, blood pressure measurements, safety screenings and so on.
