Yokohama TWS recently announced that its two major tire brands will be raised in May.
These include Trelleborg and Mitas.
The increase, which covers all market segments around the world, has a price increase of up to 5%.
The company said the price increase was due to high inflation and increased raw material and logistics costs.
It is understood that Yokohama TWS Company, formerly known as Trelleborg Wheel Systems (TWS).
The company's products include off-highway tires, aviation tires and truck tires.
In March 2022, Yokohama Rubber acquired it to expand its commercial tire business.
The total value of this transaction amounted to 2.1 billion euros (about 14.68 billion yuan).
However, due to national audit issues, the two companies did not complete the merger until early 2023.
After the merger, the two parties formed a company called "Yokohama TWS" to continue operations.
Trelleborg Wheel Systems' sales were consolidated into Yokohama Rubber's financial results in the second quarter of that year.
