In the first quarter of this year, the total import and export volume of Hexi District handed over a satisfactory answer sheet of "good start in the first quarter", and the total import and export volume reached 4.034 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 69%, ranking first in the city. Among them, the import volume reached 2.16 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 280%, contributing to the high-quality development of the city's foreign trade.
Since the beginning of this year, Hexi District has closely focused on the work goal of "building a strong economic zone and building a city of quality", continued to implement various policies and measures to stabilize foreign trade and promote the stability and quality of foreign trade, and jointly carried out a large-scale visit and research action with Hexi Customs. Strengthen policy guidance, cultivate new advantages in foreign trade competition of enterprises, focus on serving enterprises, solving difficulties, and strengthening guidance, and regularly follow up and answer questions in a timely manner for the difficulties and problems encountered in the actual operation of enterprises, coordinate the resources of all parties, form a joint force, and solve problems for enterprises. At the same time, it will help enterprises expand emerging markets, reduce dependence on a single market, make full use of diversified tools such as Sinosure's policy, Aralysn customer acquisition platform and foreign trade comprehensive service enterprise platform, and encourage enterprises to actively participate in large-scale exhibitions at home and abroad such as the CIIE and professional exhibitions in various industries, develop new customers, expand business channels, and enhance global competitiveness. In addition, Hexi District has increased the supply of policies to maintain stability and improve efficiency, strengthened support for enterprises, relied on the support policies of municipal departments on the integrated development of port, industry and city and the settlement of large-scale foreign trade entities, combined with Hexi District's own rich industrial support policies, and gave full play to the advantages of the construction of Hexi Area of Jincheng International Shipping Service Cluster, attracted upstream and downstream enterprises to register and develop in Hexi District, formed an industrial agglomeration effect, and promoted the development and growth of foreign trade industry in the region.
