Community safety is an important guarantee for residents' lives. On April 15, the Kongjiang Road Sub-district Community Good Neighbor Center, together with Xinhui Neighborhood Committee, Lane 107 Neighborhood Committee, Erlian Primary School and other forces, jointly carried out a safety education activity with the theme of "Building a Safe Community and Guarding a Better Life".
Through special lectures, field trips, hand-drawn community safety maps and other interesting and entertaining methods, the awareness and practice level of young people on community safety have been improved, and the construction of a harmonious and safe community environment has been promoted.
In the safety knowledge lecture, through the "safety magnifying glass" knowledge quiz, the children's "safety value" was detected and the security knowledge loopholes were found. Mr. Gu Feng, an expert from the Shanghai Safety Association, used easy-to-understand language to explain all kinds of safety knowledge and emergency handling skills in life, which benefited everyone a lot.
After learning about community safety, the children went on a field visit. Under the leadership of the volunteers, everyone turned into a little "detective" and carefully examined the potential safety hazards in the community, such as whether the traffic safety signs are clear, whether the fire protection facilities are complete, whether there are warnings in the dangerous areas, etc., and carefully look for possible safety hazards. This process not only exercised the children's observation skills, but also made everyone understand that safety issues are hidden around them.
The most innovative part was the "Drawing a Community Safety Map", in which the children incorporated their own problems and improvement plans into the map design, forming a valuable visualization of community safety. This map from the perspective of children not only contains everyone's deep love for their homeland, but also enhances their sense of responsibility for community safety, and provides a valuable reference for the future safety planning of the community.
At the end of the event, everyone participated in the formulation of the "Community Safety Contract", do not fly to charge, do not smoke at home, do not park on the life lane, and learn to use fire extinguishers...... Every behavioral convention proposed is closely related to the safety of the community. The "Community Safety Contract" embodies the wisdom of every child, advocates a safe code of conduct for residents to abide by, and heralds a more harmonious, orderly, safe and livable community future.
This activity is not only a safety education activity for children, but also an important practice to comprehensively enhance community safety awareness and promote the harmonious development of the community. The joint efforts of communities, schools, good neighbor centers, social organizations and other parties have stimulated everyone's enthusiasm to build a shared and safe community, and helped build a community of community governance.
In addition, relying on the brand project Good Neighbor Night Club, the Kongjiang Good Neighbor Center carried out the theme activity of "Guarding Safety 'Children' Powerful", allowing children to depict community safety with a brush, advocate safety in the form of recitation, speech, singing, etc., express their understanding and expectations of community safety with their own practical actions, and convey the importance of community safety to more people. In the future, Kongjiang Road Street will continue to carry out more similar activities in the community, so as to jointly build, govern and share, and jointly write a new chapter of community safety.
