On April 17, Qiao Junjie, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Wujin National High-tech Zone, conducted a special investigation on (near) zero-carbon enterprises and parks, emphasizing the need to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech on the work of Jiangsu, completely, accurately and comprehensively implement the new development concept, take the construction of (near) zero-carbon enterprises and parks as the starting point, and take solid measures to ensure that carbon peaking is achieved as scheduled, and promote the "double carbon" work of the whole region to a new level. District leaders Li Hao, Sun Yifeng, Zhu Huifeng, and Xu Ning participated in the investigation.
Qiao Junjie and his entourage first came to Jinchuang Green Intelligent Zero-carbon Demonstration Park, visited the exhibition hall of the park, had in-depth exchanges with the person in charge, and learned in detail about the operation process of the zero-carbon park's optical storage and charging intelligent microgrid power station, Jinxinxin's zero-carbon intelligent management platform, and the current zero-carbon solutions of the park in various industrial chains. The Green Smart Zero Carbon Demonstration Park is planned, designed, constructed and operated by Changzhou Jinling New Energy Development Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jinchuang Group Co., Ltd., adhering to the concept and requirements of the integrated solution of "source-grid-load-storage-charging". In 2023, the construction of the carbon management system of the park has obtained two authoritative certifications: the ISO14064 greenhouse gas verification statement and the carbon footprint verification statement for mid-roof ISO14067 products from Bureau Veritas (Beijing) Co., Ltd., and the carbon emission and emission reduction statistics in 2022 will be reduced by thousands of tons year-on-year, and will continue to maintain a good momentum of development in the future and continuously promote green and low-carbon development. Qiao Junjie expressed his appreciation for the park's efforts to seize the development opportunities of the new energy industry and strive to build zero-carbon parks, zero-carbon mines, zero-carbon farmers' markets and other ecological projects on the project side, and encouraged the park to adhere to innovation, through the optimization and integration of more local resources, through the design, management and service of the industrial chain, to build a demonstration benchmark for the zero-carbon demonstration park, so as to form more replicable "Jinchuang Plan" and "Wujin Plan" with demonstration and promotion significance.
As the world's first carbon management system research institute, the Yangtze River Delta Carbon Management System Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as the "Institute") settled in Wujin Green Building Zone in 2022, which mainly focuses on the research and development of carbon management system, energy intelligent management, carbon market and other fields, independently developed a carbon management system digital collaboration system, and developed and used an international green trade service platform, as well as continue to provide capacity building services for the government and enterprises, with the goal of building a first-class interdisciplinary and cross-field integration in the Yangtze River Delta and even the country. A multi-subject collaborative science and technology public service platform that provides services for various industries, various parks and enterprises. After learning more about the operation mode, management structure, development planning, low-carbon application demonstration and other related situations of the Institute, Qiao Junjie affirmed the integrated development of the central management system and the trading system, and hoped that the Institute would accelerate the pace of facing the market, start from the actual needs of users, further enrich the application scenarios, and realize the application promotion from small parks to larger regions, and at the same time further enhance the comprehensive carrying capacity, realize green front-loading, accelerate the incubation of zero-carbon technology enterprises, and contribute to the realization of the regional "double carbon" strategic goal. In the meantime, the green building zone should rely on its own advantages, make use of the resources of scientific and technological innovation platforms such as research institutes, use the concept of circular economy to transform the stock, build increments, and explore more new methods and paths for regional green and low-carbon development.

In the era of "double carbon", promoting the construction of (near) zero-carbon enterprises and parks is an important starting point for accelerating the realization of green, low-carbon and high-quality development. It is necessary to speed up the adjustment and optimization of the industrial structure, pay close attention to key industries, key regions, key parks, and key enterprises, and earnestly promote "intelligent reform, digital transformation, and green improvement", and create more low-carbon enterprises and (near) zero-carbon parks. It is necessary to further expand the application of low-carbon technologies, accelerate the construction of new infrastructure such as charging piles and battery swap stations, and continue to improve the policy system, introduce the implementation opinions and action plans for carbon peaking and carbon neutrality in the whole region according to local conditions, and optimize supporting policies such as green finance, so as to provide a solid institutional guarantee for the "dual carbon" work and promote green and low-carbon development to achieve greater results.
