The moderator, Nan Yuanjing, arranged for me to give a speech, and I think it is more important to thank you. Because the people I want to thank are all the people who have sown sunshine and rain on my creative path, and they are all the Huang Zhongda Lu who has never been missing in my ears when I create.
First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the Sichuan People's Publishing House! I would like to thank President Huang! With the enthusiastic support of the Sichuan People's Publishing House, my two collections of essays have been published. When the anthology was first published, President Huang came twice and delivered a warm speech, and today he took the time to come and give a warm speech, which fully demonstrated the veteran publisher's feelings for retired veterans. President Huang is a scholar-type publisher who has a lot of education, treats people calmly, and is rigorous, which has left me with unforgettable memories. Mr. Shi Long, assistant to the president, has been very careful about the publication of my works, and he has been careful to the end, showing the professional quality of an excellent publisher. Now Mr. Peng Wei, the powerful editor of the Sichuan People's Society, is polishing "Goose Head Ridge", and I believe that his efforts will definitely be rewarded.
Yin Shi, an old comrade-in-arms, poet, literary critic, and former deputy editor-in-chief of the People's Liberation Army's literature and art, was the first to encourage me to write a novel, and also sent me Ding Lang's 80-year-old novel "The Siege" and the Russian writer "Crime and Punishment". After the manuscript of "Goose Head Ridge" was undrafted, Mr. Zhang Lin, an old comrade-in-arms, military writer, and former director of the Phoenix Satellite TV Creation Center, polished the manuscript from beginning to end, so that its quality has been improved.
"Goose Head Ridge" has been published three times on Shaanxi Public Welfare Network, Yunbutang and Toutiao, and has been widely recognized by readers. At the beginning of the publication of the Shaanxi Public Welfare Network, 100,000 people browsed it every day. Commentators in Beijing represented by Wang Shoude, Yin Shi, Zhang Lin, Wang Shu, and Li Shengquan, and commentators in Sichuan and Shaanxi represented by Guan Zhongyao, Wang Zhanfei, and Nan Yuanjing made an in-depth analysis of "Goose Head Ridge." Wang Shoude, Yin Shi, and Wang Zhanfei's comments are all 10,000-word long essays. Hundreds of comrades-in-arms, fellow villagers and scholars expressed their feelings after reading the novel through phone calls, text messages, and other means, and tens of thousands of Internet readers left messages of more than 80,000 words, hoping that this novel would be published as soon as possible. The encouragement of friends and the attention of readers are my encouragement, and they are also the motivation for me to change the manuscript of "Goose Head Ridge" for 10 years.

When I was writing Danshi Soul, Guan Zhongyao, Wang Zhanfei, and Qu Xinru, a professor at the Fourth Military Medical University and the author of "The Biography of Yu Youren", provided me with important reference materials. Mr. Wang Xinming has read "The Soul of Danshi" five times, meticulously crafted, and devoted a lot of effort to improving the quality of the manuscript. After the finalization of "Danshi Soul", Xin Ming wrote a review and recommendation, which gave me a deeper understanding of Mr. Wang's character and knowledge. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the above friends!
Mr. Nan Yuanjing and Mr. Guan Zhongyao are comrades-in-arms who have been friends for 40 years. The first two launches and today's seminar were all planned and organized by them. Guan Zhongyao is too old, and every time he makes a special trip to Sichuan to attend a meeting, regardless of his fatigue, he makes many unique comments on his clumsy work, which not only benefits me, but also makes me feel guilty. Mr. Nan Yuanjing's official account, Yunbutang, is not only the main platform for me to publish my works, but also a network for me to publish my works. Every manuscript I publish in Yunbutang has a long-term vision that must be carefully polished and strive to have no major flaws. It is no exaggeration to say that from the time my novels are conceived to the time they are undrafted, the minds of Zhongyao and Nan Yuanjing are involved. After the publication of "Tian Cang Cang", Guan Zhongyao sublimated the connotation of the work to a new height with the title "Loyalty, loyalty, loyalty, loyalty and loyalty to the soul are the main themes of the historical symphony chapter of the novel "Tian Cang". Last year, he co-edited "Jiazi Spring and Autumn" with Nan Yuanjing, which combed through my 60-year literary creation process, and was considered by experts to be a multi-dimensional review of works. Mountains and rivers are high and watery, and bosom friends are hard to find. I can't thank them enough enough.
I would like to give special thanks to Mr. Li Fengshan and Mr. Wu Zhenxi. They are famous calligraphers and painters, and they have given me fine paintings and calligraphy many times. The "Praise of the Years" just shown, Mr. Wu painted it for more than two months. Mr. Li is enthusiastic about my old friend, and today he gave a new work "Mr. Dongpo" and inscribed a poem: "Dongshan is full of pines, and the slope is green and bamboo." All of them are high-quality products, and the rope is tied to the feelings of all households. "I was very moved. Wang Xinming's traditional character "longevity" is composed of seven characters of "ninety-nine hundred juqi", which can be described as unique. Hou Enru, Mu Lin, You Quangang and other friends of Mobao is also the crystallization of friendship, I will cherish it more.
Earlier, seven gentlemen, including Guan Zhongyao, Wang Zhanfei, Li Wenzhu, Wang Xinming, Zhang Shiwen, Mu Lin, and Nan Yuanjing, each had their own insightful comments on the clumsy work, and I benefited a great deal from it! Their high opinion of my work is a sobering agent for my steady and far-reaching development.
I have always reminded myself all my life that you can't be a person without a teacher for a day, and you can't slack off for a day to learn. Although Mr. Zhang Shiwen and Mr. Mou Lin are relatively young, their comments are all teacher's words to me, and I will keep them in mind, and continue to absorb nutrients in the process of polishing their works, and be consistent.

My literary creation is carried out with the care and support of my family. My wife Sun Lan was my first reader of all my writings, my daughter Qu Li took care of my life and taught me how to write on my phone, and my grandson Shi Tao translated English words and phrases for me meticulously, all of which allowed me to devote my time and energy to writing. Today, I would like to say thank you!
Finally, I would like to talk about a little bit of a superficial understanding of literature.
What is literature? There are many answers, both ancient and modern, both Chinese and foreign. I am here to participate in Zen and dare to say a few words of my understanding. I think literature is to use words to artistically restore life, refine life, and make readers always participate in it. I realize that this is what Mao Yidong meant when he said "from life, higher than life".
Literature should be the convergence and fusion of the author, the work, and the reader, and the fusion is a chemical reaction rather than a simple superposition of elements. Without the deep involvement and blending of readers, literature is just the author's own words.
The mission of literature is to publicize the truth, goodness and beauty of human nature, to lash out at the false, evil and ugly of human nature, and to enable readers to choose the correct world outlook, outlook on life, and values in right and wrong.
Literature and art play an irreplaceable role in enhancing cultural self-confidence. The core of cultural self-confidence is the correctness of the "three views", which is largely shaped by the influence of literature. The essence of literature is the aesthetic relationship between man and reality. This relationship determines that the aesthetics of literature are realized to a considerable extent through the aesthetics of language. Cultural giants such as Lao Tzu, Confucius, Sima Qian, Tang Sanzang, and Mao Zedong are all dazzling stars in the fall of world culture, and they are all majestic "Daizong" on the land of Chinese Chinese. Let me "look up to the mountains, and stop at the scenery." Although I can't reach it, my heart yearns for it. "An important reason why they shine and shine is that the language of their writings contains a true reflection of life and humanistic observation. Therefore, they will always be my idols and the source of my cultural self-confidence.
