Volunteers are like bricks, where they need to move, serve others, and be happy.
On the afternoon of April 17, 2024, 31 members of the Shaanxi Ankang Hanyin Comprehensive Volunteer Service Team of Dongwang volunteers were divided into two groups: one group was invited by the Lijiatai community to pick up garbage in the river, and the second group was in the orchard community for free knife sharpening, haircuts and massages for the residents of the community.
The garbage picking team came to the Lijiatai community and immediately picked up garbage along the river. There is no road on the other side of the river, and the garbage under the guardrail is in patches, facing each other across the river, so you can only carry people across the river to pick them up. They picked up bags of garbage along the river shaft and delivered bags of garbage to the bins. There are also places around the community that are not easy to go, and they go down with their hands and pick up the garbage. The sun tanned their faces red, and some of them wore hats so hot that beads of sweat rolled down. After they pick it up, let the leader check it. The community leader said, "We are very relieved that you are doing things, thank you for your hard work!" In the other group, for the needs of the people, the volunteers sharpened their knives, massaged, and preached, all in full swing.
Volunteers serve and publicize at the same time, drive everyone to become volunteers, and promote the construction of social civilization. Volunteers are also worthy of the five big words "serving the people" on their vests, and they must overcome difficulties and serve the people in a down-to-earth and conscientious manner.
