After the release of the list of martyrs, we have also received feedback from the relatives of the martyrs, the media, historical departments, cultural and historical experts, and enthusiastic citizens from all over the country that the information on the martyrs is wrong or missing. After many verifications by researchers, the information of 18 martyrs has been confirmed, of which 9 need to supplement or correct their place of origin information, 6 need to add or correct their date of birth, and 5 need to correct their name information. It will be updated through the official website of Zhongshan Scenic Area in the near future. In the next step, the researchers will continue to verify and verify the information of the martyrs.

At the same time, the memorial hall has successively collected more than 20 historical materials of heroic martyrs. This includes photographs, biographies, genealogies, and other related content. It is worth mentioning that on April 15, Chen Qianqian, the younger brother of Chen Yuanqing Yinglie, after seeing the announcement of the list, took a high-speed train from Luotian County, Hubei Province to Nanjing, came to the memorial hall, and brought the "Memoirs of the Past 20 Years" written by Chen Yuanqing Yinglie.

According to Mr. Chen's recollection, this memoir was sent to his home in 1948 by the relevant departments after his brother's death. The memoirs were written on April 4, 1944, for Chen Yuanqing in the Education Corps of Guiyang Air Defense School in Guizhou, and recorded Chen Yuanqing's experience of studying, joining the army, and fighting since he was born. The words reveal deep patriotic feelings, which is deeply moving. At the end of his memoirs, Chen Yuanqing wrote:

"Since I entered the upper primary school, I have undergone a great change in my thinking, and I am determined to serve the country, defeat imperialism and warlords, and save the country from peril. ”

"I hope that the young people of our generation will continue to strive for self-improvement, change with each passing day, be responsible for shame, survive independently, and strive to move forward. ”

"The national crisis is now private, and the reunion has its own period!"

At present, the memorial hall has preserved the electronic version of the memoirs, and established an archive for Chen Yuanqing's martyrs, which will be permanently preserved. In the next step, the memorial hall will establish special archives for more martyrs and permanently preserve relevant materials. At the same time, we will continue to do a good job in recording all kinds of calls, registering the information of heroes and their relatives, supplementing and correcting information on heroes and martyrs, and establishing files of heroes and martyrs.
