There is a long strip of land on each side of Lingshang North Street, Beiqijia Town, Changping District, with a total area of about 3,600 square meters. Recently, a resident who lives in the nearby Rong Jie community reported to Beijing Traffic Radio that the two plots of land have been covered by the green network for almost four years since 2020. Is the wasteland on both sides of the road going to be hardened or greened, and why is it delayed?
This is the fourth year that Mr. Zhang has lived in the community of Beiqijia Zhenrong in Changping District, and what he can't quite understand is why the north gate of the community, that is, the wasteland close to the courtyard wall outside the main gate, has not been able to start construction for a long time.
Mr. Zhang: The community was completed at the end of 2019, and I was the first batch of residents to move in in 2020. When I first moved into the community, the land at the door was like this, and now it's not 4 years? 4 years should also be done, if it can be greened, it must be very good, it looks different!

There are south and north districts in the Rongweilai community, and between the two communities is an east-west Lingshang North Street. There is a long strip of land on each side of the street, with a total area of about 3,600 square meters, which looks like it should be reserved for greenery, but is currently covered by green netting. Residents who have not yet come to the South District said that in the past, because the Lingshang North Street outside the north gate was not completed, the north gate could not be opened for use, so residents had to take a fire escape on the west side. Around last year, the road construction was completed, and the main entrance of the north gate was opened, but the wasteland that has been covered by green netting is obviously not a good match for the new "façade". During the interview, the reporter also noticed that some minors and even infants and young children stepped on the green net to frolic, and due to the uneven potholes in the wasteland, the children walked on it with obvious unstable center of gravity.
Resident: This road is because it was during the epidemic at the time, and the construction of Lingshang North Street was indeed slow. Because if this road is not repaired, everyone used to use a fire escape over there, but this road was just built last year, right?
Resident: This should be done with greenery, it's really not beautiful now, in fact, it's better to have some greenery, maybe it's better.

What is the purpose of the wasteland on both sides of Lingshang North Street? Why has the construction not started in four years? The reporter contacted the staff of the Future Science City, a first-class land development unit, on this matter, and said:
Staff: At present, this part of the green network cover belongs to the planned green space, which requires our first-level development company to hand over the green space to the Changping District Landscaping Bureau, and then the Landscaping Bureau will realize the greening and later management. However, when the developer of this community acquired the land, it was actually a whole green space on behalf of the developer, and the south side was hardened by the developer for part of the entrances and exits, and it did not have the conditions for handover from the perspective of the whole project. The north side also did not have the conditions to receive temporary land for some construction areas at that time. We have also done a lot of communication with the Garden Bureau recently, and the Garden Bureau on the south side has also agreed to accept it conditionally and retain the hardened part of the original entrance and exit of the community.
The staff member also said that the company plans to hand over the land to the Changping District Landscaping Bureau by the end of June this year, and the greening construction work is expected to start this year.
