On the afternoon of April 16, Qu Haifu, the head of the district, presided over the 73rd executive meeting of the district government to analyze and summarize the economic operation of the district in the first quarter, anchor the goal, press ahead, and promote the implementation of various tasks.
The meeting listened to the report on the completion of the main economic indicators in the first quarter and the next steps of 8 departments, 2 townships and 1 park, including the District Development and Reform Commission, the Bureau of Statistics, the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Jinghai Town, Daegu Zhuang Town, and the High-tech Industrial Park. The meeting stressed that the first quarter is the vane of the economy for the whole year. Since the beginning of this year, all departments, townships and parks have conscientiously implemented Xi Jinping's economic thought, seized the new track of high-quality development, coordinated the optimization of traditional industries, expanded emerging industries, and laid out future industries. The economic operation in the first quarter was characterized by precise scheduling, obvious regional support, and strong consensus on joint efforts to grasp high-quality development. All departments at all levels in the region should conscientiously take stock and summarize, deeply understand the current economic development and other problems such as insufficient effective market demand, heavy industrial structure, and lack of systematic, sustainable and professional scheduling, and always focus on the central task of economic construction and the primary task of high-quality development.
The meeting stressed that the second quarter is a critical period for consolidating the upward trend of the economy. It is necessary to take the development of new quality productivity as the focus of promoting high-quality development, adhere to the problem-oriented, goal-oriented, and result-oriented, put pressure on ourselves, strive for the top position, and ensure that the region's economy maintains reasonable quantitative growth and effective qualitative improvement.
