From April 10th to 12th, Guo Jingli, member of the party group and vice chairman of the Women's Federation of the Autonomous Region, and her party participated in the investigation of the revision of the "Measures for the Implementation of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Women's Rights and Interests of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region" (hereinafter referred to as the "Implementation Measures") and the implementation of the Program for the Development of Women and Children (hereinafter referred to as the "Two Programs") carried out by the Social Committee of the People's Congress of the Autonomous Region in Bayannur City. Chen Jie, member of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of the Autonomous Region and member of the Social Construction Committee, led the team, and the relevant persons in charge of the Standing Committee of the Bayannur Municipal People's Congress, the Women's Federation, and the Office of the Working Committee for Women and Children accompanied the investigation.
From April 10th to 11th, the research team successively went to the No. 1 Kindergarten of Urad Houqi and the "Weekend Mother" Exhibition Practice Base, Government Affairs Service Center, Bayin Town Lantian Community Children's Home, Bayannur Public Security Bureau 110 Police Center, Children's Welfare Institute, Linhe District People's Procuratorate, Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Diversified Conflict and Dispute Resolution Command Center, and Bayannur Fengping Printing Co., Ltd. to conduct field research. In each place, they had in-depth exchanges with the staff, learned about the local good practices such as caring for left-behind children, free marriage examinations, implementing the divorce cooling-off period system, carrying out diversified solutions to conflicts and disputes, reducing maternal mortality and under-5 mortality rates, and cesarean section rates, and put forward feasible opinions and suggestions on the problems and deficiencies found.
At the symposium held on April 12, the deputy mayor of Bayannur Municipal Government and the director of the Working Committee on Women and Children reported on the protection of women's rights and interests and the implementation of the goals and tasks of the two programs.
The survey, which adhered to the problem-oriented and goal-oriented, achieved the expected results, and played a positive role in promoting the autonomous region's efforts to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of women from the source and promote the comprehensive and healthy development of women and children.
