In order to improve the social skills of children in the jurisdiction and increase their social self-confidence, from March 2nd to April 13th, the social work service station of Shawan Street in Guangzhou set up a platform at the Shawan Street Party and Mass Service Center to carry out the "Bouquet of Flowers, Diversified Growth" Little Angel Social Ability Improvement Group. The group lasted for one month and attracted a total of 50 participants from 7 groups of parent-child families.

There are 5 sessions in this group, and social workers will design group lessons on the themes of meeting new friends, better self-expression, and resolving conflicts and conflicts. The main forms of the group are collaborative songwriting, chorus, painting, scenario simulation, etc. The group service is rich in form and close to life, which is deeply loved by little angels and parents.

Through their joint efforts, the group has achieved fruitful results, including the group songs they have created together and the paintings they have painted. In order to demonstrate the creativity of the group members and enhance their self-confidence, the social workers used the "2023 Shawan Street Social Work Service Station Volunteer Service Summary and Commendation Meeting" as a platform to report the results of the group. The report was well received by on-site leaders, guests and volunteers.

After the group, Xiao Qiao's grandmother, a member of the group, said, "Before joining the group, Xiao Qiao's voice in public was very small, like it was in his throat, and he couldn't hear it clearly if he didn't get close. After joining the group, Xiao Qiao actively practiced the 'post-group homework' of singing at home. Through the guidance of the social worker and the cheering of Xiao Qiao's father, Xiao Qiao's voice in public has improved a lot compared to before, and he is no longer in his throat, and he dares to express it generously. I am very grateful to the social worker for carrying out such a meaningful activity!"
