On April 16, the Municipal Health Bureau organized a city-wide population monitoring and family development work conference, which comprehensively summarized the work of the population and families in 2023, analyzed the current situation and problems, and arranged and deployed the key work in 2024. Xincheng Street, Hutun Town, Shiheng Town, and Anjiazhuang Town respectively exchanged experiences.
The meeting fully affirmed the achievements of the city's population and family work in 2023, with accurate and efficient population monitoring, steady implementation of the birth policy, implementation of the family planning family reward and support system, and steady development of infant and child care. At the same time, the problems and deficiencies in the work were reported.
The meeting demanded that all towns and streets should have a scientific understanding of the current population development situation, focus on improving the birth support policy system, and focus on six aspects of work: First, strengthen professional training and improve the service capacity of the grassroots level. The second is to carry out the publicity of the new birth policy and create a childbirth-friendly social atmosphere. The third is to do a good job in the implementation of the policy of family planning family awards and special support, and safeguard the rights and interests of family planning families. Fourth, it is necessary to strengthen population monitoring and situation research and judgment, and improve the level of birth monitoring. Fifth, vigorously develop inclusive childcare services to reduce the burden of family parenting. Sixth, adhere to the responsibility system for population targets and promote the implementation of various population targets.
More than 30 people from the comrades in charge of the division of labor of the Municipal Health Bureau, responsible departments, heads of health and family planning business in various towns and streets, and statisticians attended the meeting.
