Global 6G Technology Conference 2024
Opened in Jiangning
With the theme of "Innovation and Foreseeing the Future of 6G", the conference invited the world's top experts and scholars to discuss cutting-edge technologies and draw a blueprint for 6G. Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Sciences Wu Hequan, Liu Yunjie, You Xiaohu, provincial, municipal and district leaders Xia Xinmin, Deng Zhiyi, Lin Tao, Wang Aijun and others attended.
The conference lasted for 3 days, focusing on 6G cutting-edge technologies and application directions such as wireless synaesthesia fusion, network architecture and key technologies, communication and AI integration, and space-air-ground integration in the form of conference reports, invited reports, roundtable discussions, etc., in-depth exchanges on 6G R&D achievements, and a total of 6G cutting-edge innovation and international cooperation, so as to promote the formation of a globally unified 6G standard and healthy ecology to share experience and build consensus.
Opening Ceremony
The Purple Mountain Science and Technology City has released an action plan to jointly promote global 6G consensus and cooperation, and an action plan for Purple Mountain Science and Technology City to accelerate the cultivation of industries leading the future with 6G technology. You Xiaohu, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and director of the Purple Mountain Laboratory, gave a speech entitled "How AI and 6G can coexist in harmony".
At present, 6G technology is setting off profound changes in the global technology and industrial fields with its unique advantages and great potential, giving birth to new industries, new formats and new models, and becoming an important engine for the development of new quality productivity and leading the development of future industries. Focusing on the implementation of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech on his visit to Jiangsu, and in accordance with the goal of "three regions and one district", Jiangning Development Zone is making every effort to build a Purple Mountain Science and Technology City covering 43 square kilometers, focusing on accelerating the cultivation of future industries led by 6G technology. In the future, the science and technology city will anchor the key areas of "3+X", implement six "Zijin projects", introduce ten "Zijin policies", and carry out two "Zijin recruitment".
"3+X" key areas
It will focus on building three high-growth future industries: advanced communications, future networks, and artificial intelligence. At the same time, it will cultivate x cutting-edge future industries such as microwave photonic communication, quantum communication, new electronic materials, deep space, deep earth and deep sea base exploration, and brain-computer interface.
Six "Zijin Projects"
Promote the original innovation breakthrough project, the achievement transformation acceleration project, the major platform open source project, the industrial cluster building project, the application scenario traction project, and the factor resource guarantee project. Through the industrial chain through the service, we will focus on cultivating high-growth technology-based enterprises and high-tech enterprises such as specialized, special and new, gazelles, and unicorns, and make every effort to attract and cultivate head enterprises and industry backbone enterprises that are ecologically led and lead industrial development.
Ten "Zijin Policies"
Support the guidance of major projects and standardization, support the formation of innovation consortiums, support the research and development of core chips and devices, support the open sharing of platforms, support the agglomeration of satellite Internet enterprises, support the construction of low-orbit satellite ground infrastructure and test platforms, support artificial intelligence start-up enterprises, support enterprises to carry out the development of large models in the artificial intelligence industry, support enterprises to upgrade their files, and support the agglomeration of X cutting-edge future enterprises.
