Books are an ocean of knowledge and a ladder of human progress. In order to further create a clean and beautiful reading environment, on April 17, 2024, 9 volunteers from Dongwang Liulin Liulin Classroom in Luliang, Shanxi Province, were invited by the director of Liulin County Library to come to the Liulin County Cultural Building Library to carry out a library cleaning activity.
At 2 o'clock in the afternoon, volunteers wearing red vests came to the event site on time, and under the personal leadership of the curator, the volunteers divided labor in an orderly manner and took active action. Everyone carefully cleaned every corner of the library with rags, brooms, mops and other tools in hand. In particular, for the books on the shelves, the volunteers took them down first, carefully wiped the dust on them, carefully sorted out each book, and summarized the same type of books, so as to provide convenience for students who come to the library to study in the future. After more than two hours of busyness, the library has been renovated and created a more warm and comfortable reading environment.
Give people roses, and there is a lingering fragrance in your hands. The library cleaning activity not only created a comfortable and clean reading environment, but also left the fragrance of the books themselves, making the students fall in love with learning even more.
