The Yanqi County Center for Disease Control and Prevention reminds parents that from April 18 to May 17, 2024, our county will carry out the national immunization program vaccine detection and catch-up activities.

All children born between March 1, 2016 and December 31, 2023 who are currently living in our county are required to make up the number of immunization doses in accordance with the requirements of the national immunization program vaccine immunization schedule.

1. What is an immunization program vaccine?

Immunization programme vaccines are vaccines that are provided free of charge by the government to citizens and are required unless there are special circumstances. It is recommended to schedule vaccinations as early as possible when your baby reaches the appropriate age of the month. If these vaccines are not administered, they may affect your baby's admission to nursery, kindergarten, school, or even going abroad.

At present, the immunization program vaccines that babies need to receive from birth to 6 years old include BCG, hepatitis B vaccine, polio vaccine, diphtheria, diphtheria, diphtheria, measles, hepatitis A, meningococcal polysaccharide vaccine and meningococcal polysaccharide vaccine A+C.

Catch-up vaccination is carried out in accordance with the routine immunization schedule of the National Immunization Program (2021 edition) (among which children who have received less than two doses of inactivated polio vaccine (IPV) will receive two top-up doses).

3. What do I need to pay attention to when getting vaccinated?

Bring your ID >>> children should be accompanied by their guardians for vaccination, and bring the vaccination certificate of the vaccinated child and the identity document of the guardian.

穿衣指南 >>>

Dress your baby in loose, easy-to-untie clothing.

知情告知 >>>

Before vaccination, the guardian of the vaccinated child should carefully read the content of the informed consent form, and truthfully provide the recent health status of the vaccinated child and the contraindication to vaccination.

Precautions after vaccination >>>

After vaccination, children should stay at the vaccination site for at least 30 minutes to observe whether there is any acute allergic reaction, syncope, etc. During the observation period, there will be no gatherings or frolicking. Keep the skin of the inoculation site clean and dry, and avoid scratching the inoculation site with your hands. In case of allergic reaction, persistent fever, local redness and swelling exceeding 2.5cm, special discomfort or persistent disease status, you should seek medical attention and report to the vaccination unit in time. Avoid excessive pressure and stimulation when bathing, and keep the area clean after bathing. The guardian of the vaccinated child should be cautious about the reaction brought by the child's vaccination, do not need to be overly nervous, the vast majority of reactions are normal, the symptoms are mild, no treatment is required, and the symptoms will generally subside after 24-48 hours, so the guardian should pay close attention to the child's physical changes.
