On April 16, in the 300-square-meter student activity center of Building 1 of Linping Campus of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, the 2024 Linping special event of "International Talents Helping to Go Global" was held.
"I have been in Hangzhou for 10 years, graduated with a master's degree in Zhejiang University of Technology, and have my own entrepreneurial team in Hangzhou, focusing on cross-border trade platforms to help small and medium-sized enterprises go global. In recent years, the number of international students in Zhejiang has been expanding day by day. In order to better help enterprises make full use of the "two resources" at home and abroad, open up the "two markets" at home and abroad, and provide opportunities and platforms for outstanding international students to start a business in Zhejiang, the "International Talents Help Go Global" activity will be officially launched in 2023, and a total of 60 international students in the province will enter the innovation and entrepreneurship team last year, allowing 55 "going out" enterprises to enjoy the talent dividend. In accordance with the idea of "government building, school-enterprise linkage, and helping development", the "International Maker Gas Station Program" was launched, aiming to help international makers form a deeper connection and resonance in various aspects such as resource gathering, policy services, and enterprises going overseas with a larger vision and a better environment.
On the basis of the integration of community policing and immigration affairs, it will provide government services, policy and regulation publicity, coordination of foreign-related contradictions and disputes, cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, and salon activities for international students and enterprises.
"Talent is the foundation of our enterprise development. The Linping District Government has launched a series of policy supports, such as talent subsidies, settlement subsidies, talent apartments, children's schooling, social gatherings, and friendship clubs, including the newly established Linping Immigration Affairs Service Station, which has built a bridge of interactive communication between enterprises and international students. A person in charge of the enterprise praised Linping's talent support policy again and again.
The event also launched the "two-way promotion of international talents, schools and enterprises" activity, 19 companies received a total of about 310 resumes, and 12 international students signed letters of intent for innovation and entrepreneurship with 6 companies.
The event was hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Public Security Department and the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education, undertaken by the Hangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau and the Linping District People's Government, and co-organized by Zhejiang Sci-Tech University.
