The Beijing-Guangzhou railway is the "main artery" of the mainland's north-south transportation, and it is also the general-speed railway with the largest number of passengers, the largest passenger volume and the busiest transportation through the provincial capital, with hundreds of pairs of railway trains passing through every day.
It is reported that the centralized repair of the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway is the first round of large-scale construction after the end of the Spring Festival and Qingming holidays in 2024 and the implementation of the new train timetable across the country on April 10. To this end, Wuhan Railway Xinyang Public Works Section, Xinyang Power Supply Section and other equipment maintenance units concentrated on the deployment of professionals, machinery and materials, the use of 26 180 to 210 minutes of construction "skylights", in Luohe Station, Xinyang Station, Lixindian Station, Pengjiawan Station and other construction sections, to carry out large machine grinding, large machine tamping, replacement rail construction, catenary construction, comprehensively improve the quality of line equipment, restore the line equipment "transportation physical strength".
